Happy New Year!

I had planned to get a lot more accomplished for tomorrow's stocking, but my little ones are having one last sickness for the year! We are taking it easy today and hopefully they will start the New Year healthy :) I will be putting previews up later on tonight! Stocking will go live at 6 PM EST. Look for some cute trainers and diapers! I am also updating all of my knit print fabric selections for customs!

Customs...

I just finished this stuff this weekend. I am going to try to take a break from business sewing for the week to finish up some other projects that I have going on.  Mainly I am am working on an SMSS kimono and longies set for Jocelyn and my mom's Christmas present that is going to be more like a New Years present!  I also have a mei tei left to make for Jocelyn and I was going to make her some wool play food, but am seriously lacking the motivation to do that!

Owie Bags:

Some trainers for a trade:

and a custom diaper! I love this colorway!

Finally! Something for me!

Most of my time lately has been spent sewing and knitting for others, especially because of the holidays. I took some time out for myself the other day and made myself a couple of drawstring bags to house my current knitting projects. Sewing bags isn't really my thing, but these were pretty easy once I figured them out. I am really happy with the way they turned out and they definitely serve their purpose. Maybe when I have some more time on my hands I will try something a little more elaborate.  The first one is small for socks and the 2nd one is larger and is currently housing an SMSS Kimono for my 16 month old daughter that I am hoping to finish before Christmas.

Getting ready for stocking day!

I have been busy revising my mama cloth pattern and I am very happy with the results! This week is going to be a light stocking with some beautiful mama cloth and a couple of custom slots. I hope to get some diapers and trainers stocked next week, but it may not happen with all the crafting I still have to do for my kiddos for Christmas. I absolutely love the vibrant colors of these pads! They are stocking tomorrow at 8 PM EST. See you there!

Customs and some pretty colors!

I am all caught up on customs. They are always so much fun to do! These trainers were actually finished before my serger broke, but I am just getting the pictures up!

These diapers are even more beautiful in person! I love the simple look that this mama wanted. I hope she loves them, I know I do!

Yesterday, I dyed some beautiful bamboo velour and finished revising my mama cloth patterns Here is a taste of the results!

Needed a break...

But, I am back on track now! A few weeks ago, my serger decided to start behaving badly, so needed or not, I was forced to take a little break while it was being fixed. I took the opportunity to do some knitting and I still have a fw things left to make before Christmas! I can't believe it is already December! I feel so behind:( I still have gift bags and wool felt food to sew, socks and a sweater to knit and a little mei tei to make!

First up are these cute ruffly longies for my littlest daughter. They are organic merino wool dyed in Micsknitz "Kangaroo" colorway.

Next, I finally finished these uber comfy boot socks for myself. They are Blue Merino wool dyed in Zen Strings "Blueberry Pie" colorway.
